As an AI Team Lead, you’ll manage a team of 4 to 5 (possibly more in the future) AI Scientists in their daily, multi-project activities.
DESCRIPTION
As an AI Team Lead, you manage a team of 4–5 AI Scientists (with potential growth in the future) in their day-to-day work across multiple projects. More specifically, you are responsible for mobilizing your team to deliver several projects in parallel for our clients. Your previous experience as an AI Scientist allows you to understand your team’s challenges and support them effectively. You also act as Scrum Master to ensure that sprints are delivered consistently. In addition, you are responsible for assigning tasks within your team in order to make the best use of everyone’s strengths and expertise.
We are looking for someone with strong AI knowledge, who has already proven themselves in a team leadership role, and who is able to build trusting relationships with their team of experts, clients, and project collaborators (project managers, Product Owners, UX/UI designers). Patates Dolbec is the largest potato producer in eastern Canada. By implementing AI in their sorting machine, we have fully automated their quality control process, as well as avoided the waste of nearly 500,000 pounds of potatoes per year!
